A rework of one of my sketches - I decided to give it more effort this time :)
It's just Loki with the Marvel costume, from the comics. I just had to give the costume a shot - come on, it's skin tight and shiny! I just couldn't resist :)

By the way, Loki is also god of fire, in case you are wondering why the fire (it's a bit contradictory, he's also an ice giant, right?). But in the comics he said about himself, that he's like the fire - he burns, but why he burns, he just doesn't know... Ai ai ai! ;)

Oh man I love this version of Loki's costume, I'd say it's my favourite from the comics costumes (some of the older ones are quite dumb tbh :D)

Also I love his face here, very expressive.

And I agree - some of the costumes Marvel drew him with were just...
But I have to say I think I liked him most as a woman (no particular reason, besides being drawn super well and the attitude!)

I thought I was the only one paying attention to who the artist is! ... Maybe it's because not a lot of people in the fandom have actually read the comics to discuss the comic art. So, did you read the comics and get inspired to draw some comic art of your own?

I guess it always depends on the section of fandom you're in whether people care about the artists or not :D There's always some conversation going on I guess but it gets a lot less attention than pics, manips and stuff.

I first saw the movies and only after that read the comics, so I guess you could say I was inspired by the comics to draw a fancomic :3 But my passionate relationship with comics is an older one, and I've kind of always felt comic art is the best way for me to express myself. It's so hard to say stuff in only one pic hhehe!
